2004 Land Rover HSE. I bought this car new in 2004 and sold it to someone about 5 years ago, who could not complete the payments so I got is back... During his ownership, he put 90k miles and made some modifications and repairs including, timing chain and rails, suspension airbags, coolant hoses, headliner, chrome trim and side trims, rear suspension bushings, front sway bar linkages... Anyway, while it runs and drives (recently took is to the ranch - about 100 miles round trip and did some fun off-roading) it is in need of some TLC. The good: Engine starts right up, no weird noises or rattling, the engine makes good power, no oil smells or other obvious leaks. Transmission shifts normally. A/C blows very cold. Overall outside condition is good with no rust or dings. Interior has held up quite well with no tears, Suspension holds air and car can sit for days/weeks with no sagging. It has a new battery and oil change. Tires are in good overall shape. The bad: Rear passenger door clear is lifting, 3rd brake light cover is missing, door handle paint and trim has peeled, stereo is disconnected/inop, rear driver side tail light cover is missing, key remote doesn't work, lift gate upper trim is detached. The ugly: Air Suspension is inactive and CEL is on. I had my mechanic investigate the suspension issue and said there is a service bulletin requiring reprogramming of the suspension ECU which can only done with a specialized computer.
